Family photography is so important, children grow and change so quickly it's always a great idea to capture them as different stages of their and your life. I love to create beautiful timeless family portraits you'll hang proudly in your home.

CREATING MEMORIES

Memories that once seemed unforgettable can fade over time, but photographs have this magical way of taking you right back to that moment or feeling.  It is so important to get photos taken with your children, and perhaps even your parents. So many parents don’t want to be in photos and I’m guilty of this myself. It’s easy to put family portraits off for many reasons maybe because we think we don’t look nice or it might be easier to get family photography when our children are a little older because they might not be very cooperative when they are young. Perhaps you’re waiting until you lose some weight or get a new hair style, there will always be plenty of reasons to not get a family photo.

Funny thing is, in years to come when you and your children look back on your family photo collection these small issues will not be seen. Your grand children and great grandchildren will not see them either.

HOW THE PROCESS WORKS

Family photography is available either in studio or at some of my favourite locations in the Geelong, Surf Coast and Western Suburbs areas. I do have a growing client wardrobe, and provide styling guidance for all portrait sessions. If you are not sure what you should wear then please don’t hesitate to ask for advice. It does make a big difference if thought is given to the colours and style of clothing worn.

GETTING YOUR PHOTOS PRINTED

I am also a strong believer in printing your images. A USB is a great device for storing your images but it doesn’t look nice hanging on a wall! I work closely with the best professional print labs in Australia. It is very important your photos are printed on archival quality paper for longevity. If you’re after a unique fine art look then there are many custom professional print products and wall art to choose from.

MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY & PORTRAITS

Pregnancy is such an amazing journey, you are growing a new life inside you. When you take a second to think about that, it really is a miracle. All women and their bumps, big, small, stretch marks and all are true miracles and this deserves to be celebrated.

THE JOURNEY

Maternity sessions are best booked when you are between 32 and 36 weeks. The photo session can be held in our comfortable home studio or if you wish your maternity shoot to be held outdoors we have a selection of many gorgeous locations,

Our pre-shoot consultation will cover the various options available for either the home studio or an outdoor location. This catch up will also give us an opportunity to discuss styling and for me to answer any questions you may have about the whole enjoyable process. For many women pregnancy is not necessarily something to be flaunted or expressed. We think the exact opposite, pregnancy should be celebrated and captured for prosperity. 

MATERNITY GOWNS

If you don’t believe you have any gowns or clothing you feel is suitable for the photoshoot then we’ll invite you to peruse our collection of maternity gowns in varying sizes and styles. I’m constantly adding to the maternity client wardrobe.

All sessions include a pre-shoot consultation and styling advice, the use of beautiful gowns and if in studio full use of backdrops and props to help us achieve the ultimate celebration of your pending birth.

Partners and children are not only welcomed but encouraged to be involved in your maternity session.
