This is one of my favourite photography quotes because it embodies why i love being a photographer- through photographing people, familys, their newborn babys and everything in between i am essentially freezing moments of my clients life in time. I am extremley passionate about the importance of printing these precious memories- they should be printed beautifully and proudly displayed in your home so they can be passed down to your family for generations to come.
We live in a technology driven world and it is guaranteed that technology changes - from floppy disks to cd to usb drives and hard drives, tapes and videos to bluray. Storage devices, more often than not will eventually fail- you wipe digital files from your computer or phone by accident, and usb and hard drives often corrupt. Computers crash. You share your images on social media but then they are forgotten.
But by printing and displaying photographs in your home as wall art, or albums - ( just like when your looked through photo albums as a child) you are taken back to those memories- it evokes emotion and reminds us of our lifes experiences.
